MICKEY FOUND FOREVER HOME AT SHERIFF JOE'S MASH UNIT

The dog Mickey was chained up outside for years until the incident with 4-year-old boy Kevin happened. Mickey's family turned their back on the dog completely when asked to be killed. Luckily, compassionate judge Deborah Griffin chose to spare Mickey.

In the meantime, Mickey was neutered, defanged and micro-chipped. Attorney John Schill was regularly visited Mickey and on April 29 confirmed that Arizona Sheriff Joe Arpaio wants Mickey in his NO-KILL animal shelter for abused and neglected animals.

He will live in a large cell and visit the outdoor recreation area on the roof.

"I've got to give the judge some credit for saving the dog's life" - Arpaio said. He plans to put cameras in Mickey's cell and stream the video online 24 hours a day, seven days a week: "We want everybody to know how we're taking care of him."

Mickey's attorney, John Schill, said: "This is a very good facility. Mickey is 100 percent safe. This is far better than any of the alternatives I looked at for Mickey."

By Court Order Mickey’s Fund and the Companion Animal Trust for the Benefit of Mickey are responsible for the care and maintenance of Mickey for the rest of his life.
Mickey supporters, you had a huge role in this happening. THIS IS YOUR ACHIEVEMENT!
On April 27 has been a month since Buck and Bill were killed by Manatee County in Florida because of an isolated incident.

This is the Tribute to Buck and Bill and all nameless animals euthanized in shelters.

Every 8 seconds in the United States one animal is euthanized. Every day more than 10,000 animals are killed in shelters.
Doesn't exist humanely euthanasia! These animals die without any love, scared and alone. This is no humane, this is insane.
