UPDATE: VICTORY – TRIPP IS FREE AND ADOPTED!!!
Feb 24, 2015 — "Dear all: on this day, WCAC performed the behavioral assessment on Tripp. They were very nice and professional. Tripp passed the test. They allowed us to adopt him. We signed the paperwork and are now on the way home. WE HAVE NO WORDS TO THANK YOU ALL FOR YOUR UNCONDITIONAL SUPPORT!"

The foster family needs your help to save the pup Tripp. This sweet dog is currently being foster through Wake County Animal Shelter in North Carolina. He has lived in his foster for 7 months. At last vet check up Tripp barked at another dog. One shelter staff member saw him barking and labeled him as aggressive. Wake County Animal Shelter now is determined to euthanize little Tripp.
Be the voice of innocent pit bull pup who can't speak up for himself.

I am devastated to hear that our lovely foster Tripp could be put down just because he barked at other dogs at the shelter last time I took him in for his monthly update. He is not a bad dog, he is sweet, mellow, plays with doggy toys, fetches whatever you toss, plays tug o’ war with our other dogs, has integrated perfectly into our pack… I am aware that he belongs to the county and that you guys can do with him as you please, but from a human level I am asking you to do everything possible to keep him from dying. He is an innocent dog, he hasn’t bit any human and is getting a lot better. We are willing to adopt him. We have been trying to contact as many Rescue Groups as possible to have him pulled this Friday when we turn him in. I know I am not the only one who has developed an emotional bond with a doggie that is going to be euthanized, but Tripp is not a bad dog. The shelter would be putting to sleep an innocent doggie who hasn’t done anything bad to anybody. It would break our hearts if anything bad happens to him just because he barks at other dogs… I don’t know what else to say… I am so brokenhearted. Please help us save Tripp. He deserves a second chance and we are willing to give it to him. Of course we appreciate everything you have done so far. Please don’t let him die.
