Serbia: JUSTICE FOR PUPPY LORD

 

In Serbian cities, almost daily, people are deliberately killing animals and go unpunished. The last story is heartbreaking. Lord, 4-month-old puppy who filled owner's day with kisses, tail wags and endless joy, went out from his yard with 2 other dogs and ended his walk in the neighbor's yard. Few moments later, Lord was hacked to death with an axe by the neighbor Radoslav Peric.
Who in the world would hurt a helpless puppy? According to the neighbor words, the puppy rushed in to slay him, his wife and their sheep. This violent act of animal cruelty was reported to the police but they said that the owner is guilty and that they are not competent because it's not a gun incident.

The charge against Radoslav Peric (from the village Malo Gradište, street Malo Gradište BB, Serbia) for the crime of killing animals.

We have been informed that Radoslav Perić on February 7, 2015 killed with an axe 4-month-old puppy Lord because entered in his yard. We support the owner of the dog Aleksandar Dimitrijevic and we demand the maximum penalty for Radoslav Peric under Article 269 of the Serbian Criminal Law.

This is international appeal to Serbian authorities to act in accordance with the Serbian Law.
