SAMPLE LETTER

When the Romanian Parliament 25/09/2013 legalized mass killing of homeless animals, this country took a huge step backwards in terms of modern animal welfare. I believe there are regulations in the European Union, which established animals are sentient beings!

Thousands of Romanian dogs and cats are slaughters right now as I write. These photos are only a small part of all that is going in Romania.

https://rostrays.wordpress.com/2013/09/30/bleeding-romania-the-truth-about-stray-dogs-from-romania-graphic-images/

I ask the intervention of the EU to stop this for good. Please appeal to Romania to support Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) and adoption programs instead of killings.

Sincerely, with respect to all people who care for animals.

Your name and country

VERY IMPORTANT!!!

PLEASE ASK THE QUESTION TO EU GROUP FOR ANIMALS

THEN LEAVE A COMMENT FOR THE CONFERENCE ON THE WELFARE OF DOGS AND CATS IN THE EU
Hopefully, they will respond to you!

  1. What is happening to the stray dogs and cats in the EU countries All this slaughter They are not treated like this in the civilised countries of the EU so why is this happening in places like Romania These countries have created their problems with stray animals by not taking actions sooner like spay and neutering animals The people have been irresponsible owners too More education on owning a pet should have been given Time that proper animal welfare laws were set up for all the EU These coun tries that are doing all this slaughter of strays should not be in the EU if they are going to act like this They are still living in the dark ages Something must be done as what is happening at the moment is cruel and inhumane Time it was sorted out properly and not let any of Europe think they can do what they like concerning animals There must be laws for everyone the same and be enforced
